Disney’s Night of Joy and More Fall Events

Disney’s Night of Joy concerts will be held on September 9 and 10 this year! This fantastic contemporary music festival features performances by Christian superstars in rock, pop, and gospel music.

In the years past it’s been held at the Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. For the second year in a row, it’s being held at ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World® Resort. I attended this concert last year and loved it!!! With ample
seating at both indoor and outdoor venues,  you can sit back and enjoy the music or “get up and dance” to the artists.  This year’s line up includes:

  • Sept. 8 – MercyMe, TobyMac, Natalie Grant, Danny Gokey, Matt Maher, Colton Dixon, Rend Collective, Zach Williams
  • Sept. 9 – Amy Grant, Steven Curtis Chapman, Kirk Franklin, Jordan Feliz, Crowder, Jeremy Camp, Tye Tribbett

Note: Artists subject to change without notice. Tickets prices have not been announced yet. Continue reading Disney’s Night of Joy and More Fall Events

Disney Vacation September is Perfect!

Disney Vacation - Magic Kingdom ResortI just returned from a Disney vacation.  We went to Walt Disney World!  Our stay at Disney’s Polynesian Resort was very enjoyable.   The thrill of driving under the Magic Kingdom sign on the Magical Express bus was wonderful to feel.  That giddy Disney magic had me smiling and happy!  Disney Vacation - Under the Sea Journey of the Little MermaidAs our Disney vacation progressed the Disney magic was alive and well at every turn.  Are you interested in traveling to Walt Disney World when crowds are low?  If you plan your Disney vacation for early to mid September you will love it.  Make sure you travel before the Food and Wine Festival begins in Epcot.  The crowd level is low.  This makes attractions easier to experience.  Many attractions had stand by wait times listed under 30 minutes.   In fact,  Under the Sea, Journey of the Little Mermaid had a 20 minute stand by wait time the first time we visited it! Disney News Reviews in Disney World

Disney News Presents the New Marquee for test Track at EpcotWalt Disney World is a busy place these days.  There is so much Disney news coming out of Florida!  Let’s start at Epcot.  Test Track is being renovated.  The new sponsor is Chevrolet.  The queue will be completely new.  You will be introduced to Chevrolet in the queue.  As you walk through you will learn how Chevrolet designs cars.  There will be sketches to look at.  You will see models that no one has seen before.  In the design studio you can actually design your test drive.  The design you make will follow you through the ride.  Your design will be scored as you move through the ride.  It will be very interactive.  I can’t wait to see the new Test Track in person!
