Disney’s Night of Joy concerts will be held on September 9 and 10 this year! This fantastic contemporary music festival features performances by Christian superstars in rock, pop, and gospel music.
In the years past it’s been held at the Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. For the second year in a row, it’s being held at ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World® Resort. I attended this concert last year and loved it!!! With ample
seating at both indoor and outdoor venues, you can sit back and enjoy the music or “get up and dance” to the artists. This year’s line up includes:
- Sept. 8 – MercyMe, TobyMac, Natalie Grant, Danny Gokey, Matt Maher, Colton Dixon, Rend Collective, Zach Williams
- Sept. 9 – Amy Grant, Steven Curtis Chapman, Kirk Franklin, Jordan Feliz, Crowder, Jeremy Camp, Tye Tribbett
Note: Artists subject to change without notice. Tickets prices have not been announced yet. Continue reading Disney’s Night of Joy and More Fall Events

When I am planning my Disney vacation one of the first things I consider is where I will dine. In particular when I travel to Walt Disney World, I love to try new restaurant. I also love to visit my favorite dining spots. Two of my favorite Disney dining experiences have seen changes. One of the best restaurants in Walt Disney World just got a complete makeover. The California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is re-opening on September 9, 2013. Your Disney dining experience there will be amazing. Sommerfest is a counter service restaurant in Germany at Epcot. I love stopping there for a quick German meal. They have refreshed their menu. As of September 1, 2013 there will be new dishes to try. Have you dined at Be Our Guest? Be Our Guest is the newest Disney dining experience. It is located at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. You will find dinner is nearly impossible to book there. If you want to eat dinner there you have to book it 180 days out. You will be considered one of the lucky ones if you get that coveted dinner reservation. I know that this Disney dining experience is one of the most sought after reservations in Disney World. It is even more popular than Cinderella’s Royal Table or Le Cellier. All of my clients want to eat dinner at Be Our Guest. I have booked a few dinners, but admit that it is a tough one to get. I have a little advice for you today regarding this wonderful restaurant. I think you should consider eating lunch there. You don’t need a reservation for lunch. Continue reading Disney Dining Be Our Guest for Lunch!

If you are a seasoned Walt Disney World traveler, you know how great it is to get an email with a Disney pin code attached to it. Disney pin code offers are known to be the deepest discounts most of the time. I have gotten my fair share. My daughter gets them all the time. This type of discount is not for public use. A Disney pin code is a discount sent to specific people. You can’t transfer the discount to anyone. Disney verifies specific information to make sure the discount is in your name. Your Disney specialized travel agent can use your pin code to find you the deal. So, you get a great discount and can still use the services of a Disney experienced travel agent. It is a win/win deal, right?
The picture on the left was featured in the recent round of emails that went out. That pin code offer is for free Disney dining into December 2013. Do you remember seeing that in an email you got? I wonder how many people are looking at this picture and realizing they got that email and deleted it by mistake. Is your heart sinking because you know the email is long gone? You might be able to find that pin code. Continue reading Disney Pin Code ~ Deleted by Mistake?
Everyone wants the best deal when they travel to Walt Disney World. An experienced Disney travel professional is accustomed to chasing discounts. We try to keep up with the psychology of Disney deals. It is always a good idea to book outside of 180 days of your travel dates. This allows you to arrange the dining you want at 180 days out. Disney very rarely releases discounts for dates before it is time to book dining. This can be a problem if you really want to dine at popular dining locations. Most Disney travel agents will actively search for discounts for already booked reservations. Take advantage of that awesome perk, save money in the long run, and dine at the more popular restaurants. Your best planning psychology is to let the Disney professional do their job. The view from every table will be spectacular. The kitchen will have a new interactive concept. Disney promises this will add a cutting edge feel to California Grill. There is no word on an opening date. As expected there will be a new menu for guests to enjoy. Chef Brian Piasecki is working daily on new menu items at an off site kitchen. Walt Disney World has released a little news about the menu. Continue reading California Grill ~ Disney Menu News
