CELEBRATING NEW YEAR’S EVE DISNEY STYLE
With all of the excitement of the approaching holidays, New Year’s Eve sometimes gets forgotten. I know that I’m guilty of waiting to think about December 31st until after the 25th! At that point, it’s usually too late for me to get something fun planned.
For those of you that want to celebrate Disney style, there are several great options this year, and now is the perfect time to plan for them. Walt Disney World has celebrations filled with music, spectacular fireworks and delectable culinary delights this New Year’s Eve:

Disney World Planning–CRUCIAL QUESTIONS
When starting the conversation about a Disney World vacation, planning is the most crucial step. When I hear families discussing the multitudes of choices that Disney has to offer, some of their questions include: when should we go, where should we stay, what is a Magic Band, etc.
So, to answer the first question, “When is the best time to visit?” This answer depends, mainly, on your family. If you can tolerate the hot, summer weather, I would suggest late August. The crowds tend to be low because it’s nice and hot! There are often promotional discounts at this time, too. Continue reading Disney World Planning–CRUCIAL QUESTIONS

Disney’s Candlelight Processional 2015 at Epcot
Walt Disney World’s Candlelight Processional at Epcot is a breathtaking retelling of the Christmas story in words and music complete with a 50 piece orchestra, a full choir and celebrity guest narrators.
Each night, a celebrity narrator tells the biblical tale of a savior born to a virgin in Bethlehem. Gorgeous choral pieces performed by a 50 piece orchestra and various choirs are interwoven with the narration, inspiring the audience with songs of hope and joy. The choir is entirely made up of members of Disney’s Voices of Liberty (red & black attire), the Cast Member choir (green robes), and visiting high school and guest choirs (gold robes). 2014 Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at Disney World
One of my favorite times to visit Walt Disney World is during the holidays, especially at Halloween, when the park holds Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.
During the Halloween season, the train station, entrance to The Magic Kingdom and Main Street U.S.A. are decorated with orange and brown bunting, carved jack-o-lanterns, hay bales, fall flowers and scarecrows that are dressed as Main Street U.S.A. cast members. It’s a fun, festive look and gives Main Street U.S.A. even more of a down home feel. Continue reading 2014 Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at Disney World
