How would you like to set out on a ferry boat cruise on the Seven Seas Lagoon, enjoy delicious treats and beverages while you watch the amazing “Wishes” fireworks show from the most exclusive spot Mickey Mouse has to offer? Then the new ” Ferrytale Wishes: A Fireworks Dessert Cruise” is the perfect experience for you.
Imagine sailing off from the Ticket & Transportation Ferryboat Dock promptly one hour prior to “Wishes” Nighttime Spectacular, offered on select nights weekly, on the iconic, double-stack ferryboat. You’ll get a front and center view of the Magic Kingdom‘s nightly spectacular while nibbling upon sweets inspired by the Magic Kingdom and Area resorts. Get ready to set a course for decks laden with delectable sweets such as “The Grand” key lime tart; pineapple upside down cake from the chefs at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort; spiced flour less chocolate cake from the pastry kitchen at Disney’s Contemporary Resort; “Main Street” Mickey Balloon Tarts; mini “fireworks” cupcakes with a pop; Cinderella’s Sugar slipper with Orange Financier; no-sugar-added Florida mango panna cotta; and a fabulous fruit and cheese spread. Toast the evening with specialty alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in souvenir glow glasses.
Enjoy this sweet ending to your day, as you watch the dazzling “Wishes” overhead. While you sample the sweets, the medley of famous Disney songs and the voices of Disney characters will be piped through the boat’s sound system. And you can bet, there will be some special “magical moments” Disney style.
At the time of this writing, party dates are scheduled for Monday, Thursday and Friday evenings, beginning October 5, 2015 and running through December 18 (with some exclusions such as Thanksgiving Thursday and Friday). Cruises will set sail 45 minutes before the start of Wishes.
Pre-paid admission to Ferrytale Wishes is $99 for adults and $69 for children ages 3 to 9, including tax and gratuity. The price includes a Souvenir Palette Plate and Glow Glass to take home. 150 guest will be able to participate per cruise, and Advance Reservations are highly recommended.
I am sad that I will be leaving the Walt Disney World Resort only days before this fabulous Cruise sets sail for the first time in forever! If you don’t want to miss the Ferrytale Wishes: Fireworks Dessert Cruise, contact your Our Laughing Place Travel pixie to make arrangements. I know I’ll be planning my next Disney vacation ASAP!
Please note on Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very-Merry-Christmas Party nights, the fireworks will be Happy HalloWishes or Holiday Wishes – Celebrate the Spirit of the Season, not “Wishes” Nighttime Spectacular.
