Walt Disney World’s Candlelight Processional at Epcot is a breathtaking retelling of the Christmas story in words and music complete with a 50 piece orchestra, a full choir and celebrity guest narrators.
Each night, a celebrity narrator tells the biblical tale of a savior born to a virgin in Bethlehem. Gorgeous choral pieces performed by a 50 piece orchestra and various choirs are interwoven with the narration, inspiring the audience with songs of hope and joy. The choir is entirely made up of members of Disney’s Voices of Liberty (red & black attire), the Cast Member choir (green robes), and visiting high school and guest choirs (gold robes).
This is a not to be missed event for anyone looking to experience a meaningful Christmas musical event. While this show has a definite Christian slant, many people have said that this is a very enjoyable show regardless of what holidays one may celebrate.
The Candlelight Processional is held every night during the Christmas season at the American Gardens Theater in Epcot’s World Showcase. The first performance is usually held within a few days of Thanksgiving and then runs daily through December 30. There are three performances each evening at 5:00PM, 6:45PM and 8:15PM. On December 6, 2015, show times take place at 6:45PM and 8:15PM only. The length of the show is about 45 minutes.

Celebrity narrators, dates and times are subject to change without notice. The America Gardens Theater is handicap accessible and for the hearing impaired, an American Sign Language interpreter translates the legendary account, allowing Guests of all kinds the opportunity to enjoy the event.
Because of the show’s popularity, seats go quickly! The Candlelight Processional Dining Package is the ONLY way to get a guaranteed seat. Guests who have not reserved a Candlelight Dining package will be seated at the Candlelight Processional on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations for Candlelight Dining Packages can be made beginning on Tuesday, July 7, 2015. Advance reservations are highly recommended, and can be made up to 180 days prior to your visit.
Candlelight Dining Packages are available for lunch and/or dinner and include a 3-course meal or full buffet, depending on the dining location. If you are paying out of pocket, lunch packages start at about $35 per person and dinner packages start at about $50 per person (for adults). Pricing is dependent on the choice of restaurant. There is a wide selection of table service dining locations and the Disney Dining Plan is accepted at all of them.
