Let’s start with a Room discount. Between August 16- October 3, 2014 you can save between 15% – 30%. You can pick to stay at a value, moderate, deluxe, deluxe villas. The amount of savings depends on which resort you stay at and your travel dates.
Disney is also offering FREE DINING! Free tastes so much better, right? This offer is for arrivals most nights Aug. 31-Oct. 3, Oct. 26-Nov. 1, Nov. 9-20, Dec. 12-23, 2014. Be sure to book by Aug. 8, 2014.
Just purchase a non-discounted 6-Night/7-Day Walt Disney Travel Company room and ticket package at select Disney Moderate, Disney Deluxe or Disney Deluxe Villa Resort hotels at the Walt Disney World® Resort.
Or, you can get a FREE Quick-Service Dining Plan when you stay at a value resort. You can upgrade to the basic dining, if you prefer.
Now that you’re going to save some Disney dollars, let’s talk fun events that you can attend.
If your travel dates include September 05 – September 06, 2014 you can attend Night of Joy. Experience a Christian music festival with performances by superstars in rock, pop and gospel. This concert takes place at the Magic Kingdom from 7 pm- 12 midnight.
To name a few groups that are scheduled include: Skillet, Mercy Me, Chris Tomlin, and Matthew West.
Next up is Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! The tone of the party is “not-so-scary,” which means children of all ages can enjoy it. This special event is held on select nights in September to October—separate event tickets can be purchased in advance. Party between the hours of 7 pm – 12 midnight.
You can dress up in your favorite costume to collect candy throughout Magic Kingdom park. I’m like a little kid running through the Magic Kingdom trick or treating. It’s so fun for all ages! Many favorite Disney Characters are dressed in Halloween costumes, too.
There’s a Halloween parade, Boo To You where you can see the Headless Horseman! So come celebrate and scare up a good time!
Let’s hop over to Epcot for the International Food & Wine Festival. From September 19 – November 10, 2014 you can experience dozens of unique flavors and fun experiences unfold across the park. Some favorite highlights from the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival include:

Signature dining experiences with world-renown chefsExciting culinary demonstrations and beverage seminar.The Eat to the Beat concert series, with nightly performances from popular hit-makers. During the same time Epcot has a concert series called Eat to the Beat. You can catch Rick Springfield, Sugar Ray, Fuel, and Smash Mouth to name a few performers.
To get in the holiday mood, there’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. This event requires a separate ticket for certain nights during November and December. Enjoy the Christmas party from 7 pm – 12 midnight.
Party offers cheer and enchantment for all ages and interests.
Delight in the lights shimmering like ice on Cinderella Castle! And hum along with the holiday music that fills the air. It’s a time for wishes to come true!
Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade will take place and you can see Goofy, Mickey, Minnie to name a few characters as they dance down Main Street USA. Make sure to catch the snow on Main Street. Yup, it snows in Florida.
When you visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios during November, December and early January make sure to see The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights. This is a seasonal display of festive lights and music. It snows here too!
