Epcot Food and Wine Festival ~ Eat to the Beat Concert Series

Epcot Food and Wine Festival Line Up for Eat to the Beat ConcertsOne of my favorite Food and Wine Festival experiences is the Eat to the Beat Concert Series.  I love that  Disney incorporates music into their seasonal activities.  Every year the performances are wonderful.  The music will have you dancing in the World Showcase!  I love Big Bad Voodoo Daddy!  He will be performing this year again.   Boyz II Men will also be back this year.  38 Special returns, too.  They have been around for many years and still know how to rock and roll.  There are several new bands set to perform.  The Go-Go’s, Edwin McCain, The Manhattan Transfer, Wilson Phillips, Spin Doctors and Christopher Cross will join the line up of stars.  You can read the full list here.

Epcot Food and Wine Festival ~ Shopping!

Epcot Food and Wine Festival MerchandiseI love shopping at Disney’s seasonal events.  Some of my favorite Disney souvenirs are from special events that I really enjoyed.  I have an apron from an Epcot Food and Wine Festival that I attended years ago.  It is still my favorite.  Disney will have lots of unique things for sale throughout the World Showcase.  There is a bit of a comical side to the art behind the Epcot Food and Wine Festival merchandise this year.  Disney has an unnamed chef for the main festival icon.  You will find him on lots of the merchandise for sale.  Remy from the movie Ratatouille can be seen on the top of the chef’s hat.  Remy is so whimsical and fun.  Meet him at selected times at Chef de France Restaurant in the France pavilion.  The 12 inch Duffy the Disney Bear will be back this year.  There will be Mickey Ears that are sporting a cute chef’s hat.

It is not too late to start planning your visit to the Epcot Food and Wine Festival this year!  Disney even has a Free Dining Offer out for those dates.
