Disney news for Dooney & Bourke purse collectors; guess what is coming to Walt Disney World? New Dooney & Bourke designs are being released on July 14, 2012! Not only are these purses adorable, but they are also very well made. Your Dooney & Bourke purse will last you a lifetime and be a nice memento of your trip to Disney. There are two new designs, the retro look; featuring the Magic Kingdom as the theme. The Charm design is centered around the characters, and has either a white or black background. Really, as you can see, they are gorgeous bags!

You will be Disney news when you use your new purse to go to dinner at one of the finest restaurants in Walt Disney World. Victoria and Albert’s is located at The Grand Floridian. For the 13th year in a row this restaurant has received a 5-diamond award from AAA! That is delicious Disney news. Only 53 out of 1028 restaurants were rewarded with a 5-diamond rating, and to get that rating requires a unique mix of menu items, served by a staff that provides service that exceeds what might be expected.

The NEW Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom is well on its way to completion. Along with the second carousel of Dumbo the Flying Elephant opening, a new attraction is ready right on time for the hot summer months. The Casey Jr Splash n Soak Station is located adjacent to Dumbo. Expect to get wet there; and have lots of fun laughing and playing. This attraction plays a big part in the theme of the Storybook Station. Casey is the name of the train that brought Dumbo and the other circus animals into town. You have to love how Disney weaves their magic and creates attractions that flow into each other and actually tell a ‘Story’.

More Disney news from Walt Disney World; they will host a pin trading event in September at Epcot. Celebrating all the Disney news at Magic Kingdom this special event is called Mickey’s Circus. It will be held at Epcot from September 9 through September 12, 2012. There will be fun for collectors of both pins and Vinylmation with three days of trading going on. There will, of course be special pins and Vinylmation there for you to purchase.

Disney news we have been waiting for - quite a few of the narrators for the Candlelight Processional 2012 season have been announced. This spectacular production will be held at Epcot nightly, November 23 through December 30, 2012. There are a few spots not filled yet, but a partial list is good. Start making your plans now! The Candlelight Processional Dinner Packages will be available to book starting June 26, 2012!

I’d like to make a quick nod this week to Disneyland California. This past week California Adventure saw lots of excitement with the opening of Cars Land and Buena Vista Street. Buena Vista Street holds a special place in my heart, and I am really looking forward to visiting it. This area commemorates when Walt Disney first arrived in California, and Disney created the wonderful Storyteller’s Statue; Mickey Mouse and Walt Disney. I am seeing lots of Disney traditional pictures featuring this statue with families around it.
